    Reading up on Google's latest fiasco, and thoroughly enjoying how intensely emotionally charged everyone gets about gender issues in the tech industry.

    Almost all just politics-fueled emotions running hot instead of arguments made in an even remotely rational fashion. Beautiful.

    I've been doing a project for an internship this summer that will count as an elective course for my MBA. I send my professor updates every week.

    Today I get a response: "I think you should have done enough for the sake of the credit."

    My thought: "I haven't even started!"

    Either he can't be bothered with me or I'm just THAT awesome. Probably the Latter.

    So, does anyone else find it weird, and, quite frankly, disturbing, that those folks in the Volvo XC 90 "wedding" commercial haven't got to their destination after almost 2 years? I mean, if that car is so great, why haven't they got where they were going?

    DaddySquirrel wonders why I prefer driving places when we can fly. THIS is the reason! If it's somewhere I haven't traveled before, you bet your patootie I'm gonna drive. I like to see the landscape change and stop at stupid roadside attractions.
