  1. At least your ego will never be as large as @Borla's ginormous head.

And being cooler than the average TFPer isn't really all that much to be proud of....

MW scored a Folkmanis wolf pup puppet for $1.39 at Goodwill. She has around 10 Folkmanis puppets, only paid retail for a few.

Tinygirly just comforted herself back to sleep!

I've been working late making edits to this manuscript that was accepted with major revisions.
The past few nights Tinygirly has been super needy. This is probably because she can tell I'm distracted all day and night with something other than her.
Last night I just gave up on writing and slept next to her, waking every couple of hours to her freaking out.

Well, tonight... I walked in and comforted her the first time she awoke. Patting and helping her feel at ease. The second time, I just let her deal. And guess what? Her fussing was short-lived. She went back to sleep. Let's hope it keeps up.

    Tell me your secrets.

Mini Martian is most certainly not capable of that. But she's four months old so I guess I shouldn't expect her to be.

You are comparing your 4 month old to my nearly 2 year old.

That said... 4 months is a reasonable time to begin teaching your child the basics of self-soothing. Remind me to blather at you about it sometime... preferably when I'm not dealing with an absurd deadline.

  7. @Fangirl is cooler than you asshats too.

We all know that @CinnamonGirl is the coolest of them all, but I would just like to remind you so that you are always thinking about how cool she is.

Easter sucked ass, as soon as I said " I'm not cooking " we ended up at pizza buffet. Crowded and filthy. Never again. Next year, I am cooking

Yeah, Easter was less-than happy around here, too. I spent it alone, and my brother was robbed of a chainsaw and $600 worth of rods and reels.
On the brighter side, my neighbor brought me half a box of Ice Cream Drumsticks because she's going on a diet for a cruise this Summer.

It sucks how people who don't like to cook get POd at the person they rely on to cook when that person says "I'm not cooking."

No idea. I do know it wasn't that old, and not used much. He's more of a welder. Only used it when something needing trimming/cut from debris from storms.

Took a couple customers to BWW for lunch today. They have a '15 mins or it's free' policy for much of their lunch menu. The timer was at 15:12 when she brought our food. So our lunch was comp'd.

My buddy next door woke up to 6 donkeys milling around his front yard.
His normally vocal dogs were kind of intimidated by the rather large animals sniffing through the fence.
Even his Great Dane was silent.

Turns out the neighbor down the street had been burning his fence-line the previous day, and uncovered a gap the herd took advantage of. (btw, how do I end that sentence properly?)

My husband just cleaned the bathroom mirror. This morning, he cleaned the beard trimmings out of the sink.

    I think I have palpitations.

(@Fremen a gap of which the herd took advantage.)
