Very nice. I listened to a pair of jbl 100s at a store a month ago. Such a big projecting sound compared to speakers nowadays. Someday im going to get a big set of classic speakers.

Are you saying that in your best Clint Eastwood voice?

Not sure why I thought that, just feeling lucky I guess.

A name like Mystic Mountain makes me think it should have some sort of My Little Pony colorway.

Somebody hijacked your purchase and added those last three I see.

Paid $12 for the body and $36 for the lens.
This setup cost $500 back in 1990 ($850 in current dollars adjusted for inflation)

    Hijack on.

I read Fifty Shades of Grey, but only because I got it for .50 maybe a 1.00 at a Salvation Army store. It didn't inspire me to read the other two books. Try the Anne Rice, writing as A.N. Roquelaure, Beauty triology: The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty, Beauty's Punishment, & Beauty's Release.

    Hijack off.

Just took a closer look at the old kit lens in my last picture and was not surprised to find that the best it can do for an f-stop is F/4. Completely unimpressive but can't complain for the price; removing the front element to turn it into a macro is looking even more likely now.
I think a budget 50mm F/1.8 will be what the older Rebel gets in the not so far off future for a primary lens.

No I mainly bought them for her
Also they are used copies costing total less than $7. Even shopping was free I had a coupon. I take that as a feedback that it isn't a great trilogy. we will see

The Shades triology is relatively mild, at least in book one, as far as BDSM erotica goes. For someone who doesn't has much exposure (written, visual, etc.) to such material but is openminded, it could be quite stimulating. I'm guessing that is what you're hoping for ;) .

I don't mean to be forward/too familiar, but have you tried bringing home copies Penthouse Variations (if it's still being published)? My wife gets a "kick" from Variations.

E.L. James is not a very good writer, but the same can be said of Anne Rice. The situations & punishments in the Beauty triology could be a bit much for someone not familiar with the genre.
