Sunset outside of Healy, AK
Southwest Ohio tonight
The second and third pics kind of remind me of a time a few years ago driving to Boston from Wichita. It was a really cold winter day/night. I left Witch about noon, taking I-35 to DesMoines, I-80 to Davenport, then the I-88 Tollway NE to Chicago. Bone-chilling cold when I bought gas in Davenport.
But driving up I-88 I saw the strongest, most beautiful greenish aurora borealis that I've ever seen. I stopped by the side of the road where there wasn't much ground lighting, got out of the car, and just took in the sight. By the time I got to DeKalb the show was over.
@Chris Noyb, looks like you must be able to upload a file. No such button on my screen.
On my phone it's located just under the 'box' I click to enter text. I'm wondering if you some how changed your setting here at TFP????

We go here often for sunsets. Always a different light show...
