At the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York Andy Goldsworthy did a piece called Garden of Stones.
This is what it looked like when Jadzia and I went to see it when it was first installed.



And now.
The idea is that one day the trees will grow to a point where they will split the stones.

Lake Houston has a several, probably quite a few, of stands of trees where the tops are visible above water. Some are quite visible from FM1960 when crossing the lake. The damnedest thing is I can't find any images of those trees.

The following two images are maybe? possibly? from Lake Houston. If so, they're not the images I was looking for. The trees I've seen look like a species of oak, not bald cypress.
