saw this <http://www.icall.com/iphone/> through a google search which gives the iPhone a solid VoIP connection through wi-fi. Now that gets my interest, as it 'only' costs $9.95 per month which gives you your own personal number. And the iphone would be useful for the whole media player thing as well.
