with my health issues and all, i've been trying to keep a low quiet profile...
to wit, 4 heart attacks, and a recent heart surgery...
the latest was an implant of a transmitter called a cardio-mems... basically it monitors the fluid pressures through my pulmonary artery, it then takes the reading and sends it to my cardiologist... if they see anything out of the norm they call me...

may i say this while being unabtrusive... if there's a history of heart failure in your family, please get an echo-cardio-gram... it may save your life...

i cannot stress that enuff... your family will thank you... and quit smoking!!!

Kick back and stay around when you're giving your heart a chill.

But please do stay healthy, as much as possible..

BTW, my family has a history of heart disease. I don't fool around. Check fully checked out every few. Fortunately the FULL work up this year shows the ticker is perfect.
I do have borderline high BP, always have...but ironically have to be more careful of rapid BP drops. (quick lows) from positions. (my legs out to get me). Gotta focus on legs.

    Amazing how it ALL counts.

Stay careful from the covid too...that crud will kick butt. Test the bod and then some.

But do come and chitchat...always a pleasure to hear your words. :)

    Life is just rough.

My mom spent 7 weeks in the hospital with pneumonia and sepsis, she has no healthcare so you can imagine how that went. No rehab would take her due to that.
She ended up at my house. after she had been out for 2 weeks my step dad (her husband) died. So now I have her and her dog at my house. Shes staying in my daughters room and it made my daughter move into the computer room. I got her into a free clinic to help with alot and they are able to help with meds also. But she has cataracts so Ive been having to pay for those appts and now i gotta pay for the surgeries. On top of all the normal bills. I found out alot that she was hiding from me as far as financial things.... Anytime she needs something I do my best to get it if its important. But she has a tendancy to guilt trip me if I dont. And that makes shit worse. My wife is not happy. not that shes there, she not happy with some of the comments that she makes. Their was one person on here that i reached out to to ask for opinions and help with what things ment. and they were a big help. I dont want to call them out but they know who they are and I appreciated it very much. They were able to dumb it down for me.

I finally got her approved for social security at the tune of $221 a month... She has always had jobs that paid cash (I didnt know that) which starts in November but im trying to get her approved for my step dads social security, but thats a long drawn out process. His daughter is being a bitch as far as what she wants...long story... She has been denied for medicaid, but i have since reapplied. SHe is not old enough for medicare shes 61, will be 62 next month.

Im not ok, i go into a deep dark hole and have a hard time coming out of it. My wife made me go to the dr a few weeks ago. and they added another med (wellbutrin) on top of what i already take. I dont like taking more stuff, but im taking it.... They told me that if things got worse to call the dr immediately. The issue I have now is i dont know if its getting worse due to the med or life is getting worse so to speak. Im just not in a good place, My wife had no ides that it was as bad as it is until my best friend texted her. Which i was ok with. I finally talked to her and thats when she told me to go to the dr. Ive always had anxiety/depression issues but im just not ok. I dont like to be around people, im not eating much, I dont sleep much and i have a tendancy just to fly off the handle at people. I just dont talk to people much. Even my wife and daughter cause im afraid that ill say something hurtful, or mean So i just try to stay away. I know this sounds dumb, but when I go into the deep dark hole its extremely hard to come out, but so far ive been able to climb out it just takes longer to come out. Im so not ok, that ive googled shit so i know.......

Anyway, thats about it. Just trying to hold it down

We are here for you man.
Keep hammering on the Medicaid application.
It varies by state but in NY if she were eligible a bunch of her hospital and other bills could even be covered retroactively.
Does the clinic she goes to have a social worker? They usually know the ins and out of getting Medicaid funding.
Don't let anyone stop you from taking every route possible to get her on Medicaid.

Hey friend, I’m here if you need to talk. The prevention line is literally a lifeline for many people and it has its place. We all care about you here and hope you stick around. Life has thrown a lot of bullshit your way, but you have been handling it. You can’t expect to come through that unscathed or unaffected. Sending warm thoughts and hope your way.
