I still think sex education is sorely lacking. Any teenager now can search for any sex act and find graphic hardcore videos of it on-line. I had access to some porn on-line back in 1995, but what is out there now is way beyond what was there in the 90's. Why isn't Planned Parenthood releasing educational on-line sex education classes for all the home schooled and charter school kids? Or even the kids in public school that aren't exposed to all the details that they should know.

However, sex education hasn't changed one bit. I can post a link to this website and it isn't really NSFW since it doesn't even show real people or real pictures (*except for the latest one... maybe they got the message because I complained).

I still wouldn't recommend going to that site at work or the library, because if you leave out the /sex part you go to the hardcore porn page where everything is shown. It makes no sense in 2017 to censor it or exclude things.

Excuse me? I survived pedophiles and have made it my goal in life to protect and care about what happens to children. Also to help them speak up if being abused and find help when needed.

Sex Education in America is sorely lacking and we really have to address it as a culture. My favorite (humorous) take on it...

Teenagers have been having sex for as long as the human race has been around. I'd rather they got good information.

Having 2 daughters and an RN for a spouse, my wife got stuck with sex ed (I got driver's ed). When your 11 & 12 year olds tell you that mom is disgusting, you know she did a good job.

While John Oliver is correct in assessing the pathetic state of sex ed in the US, and the totally non-existant relationship ed (consent, dating, etc...). I wish the school had a better program when I was in my teens, yet I feel it was pretty progressive for the right-wing moderate town I grew up in. Thankfully it was nothing like the videos and speakers in the above clip, although the results of my high school are what the anti-sex crusaders would wish happened nationwide (I don't think any girl in my high school was pregnant, but they made the STD risk sound much higher than it actually was, especially for a bunch of teenage virgins far from the cities). Then again, it only takes one person to introduce an STD into the student population and it can spread and be a big problem.

However, my point still stands, I question where Hollywood and Planned Parenthood are at making a pro-sex, uncensored version of sex education for teens? Or are they just willing to let porn teach them. Because John Oliver could have made the comment that Utah is the state that watches a lot of porn, yet is restrictive on sex education.
