Last night i had a dream that i was getting married. It was a massive wedding with hundreds invited to an outdoor wedding. Except it was Armageddon-like.

It was the end of the world for the weak, and only the strong survive. The only thing was the the guests had to fight each other to survive. And after scuffling and having negotiations with opposing groups (usually grouped together by table numbers) we were up against this one group who had this guy who was dressed up in a Zoro-like outfit. Cape and mask but no hat. I recognised him has Baraka_Guru from his eyes and his bald head. He was ready to fight with a pole or fencing sword of some sort. When i recognised him, and realised that he's not really the violent type, and that i wasnt ready to fight to the death with someone i liked so much on TFP, i slowly walked away and then bolted.

everyone thought i was a coward, including BG. i dont think i got married that day

I very frequently have dreams where I'm POSTING on TFP...less often, TFPers make actual appearances in my dreams.

I don't think I've had any lately, but my favorite was hot tubbing with cynthetiq , Martian , and fresnelly while we had some kind of business meeting about the site.

 

You missed out. It was fun and steamy.

 

I had a dream last night that GeneticShift and I were playing Hungry Hungry Hippos and drinking ginger ale. It was fun.

 

We can make that a reality you know...

It's also refreshing to be in the company, albeit virtual, of people that appreciate talking about dreams, especially after having gotten out of a relationship with someone so unimaginative as to have had absolutely no appreciation for hers or anyone else's.

 

I wish I dreamed, or remembered them if I do. Maybe a couple times each year a fragment will drift though my consciousness in the morning. I'm like "of yeah that was cool" and then mentally try to reach for the rest of it but seldom can I recapture it.

 

With very few exceptions, my dreams are gone from memory within moments of opening my eyes. The few that do stick feature me falling to a grisly death. My issues with heights probably is related.

 

Now I finally know how to spell kai ryssdal. I always wondered what his name was.
