For those of us who are eating something today...
    Tell us about your food!
    What did you make?
    What are you making?
Who are you making it with?
    How are you making it?
Where did you purchase your ingredients?
Who are you going to enjoy it with this week?
    Share photos if you'd like!

I’m doing it alone this year
    I just wanted quiet

    Treating myself to good food
    Zoning in various ways

Thankful for those who call & say hello and happy holiday.
It’s good even if you’re alone, you’re not alone.

    That’s what I’m thankful for.

it was good as always, ate way too much. it was only me, my wife, my daughter, my sister in law, and my mom. even though there weren't many of us it was nice to be with family. I didn't take any photos, I was more concerned about eating it. lol everything was made at my house, they started preparing Wednesday evening. pretty much everything was bought at a local grocery store except for the ham, it was from a local butcher. I love my local butcher.
the only thing that I didn't get was a pecan pie. my mother in law always made one for desert and she always made one for just me. its my all time favorite. she did it for about 15 years. ever since she died my wife always made me one, she didn't this year, she said she forgot :(, but oh well. all in all it was a good day. I work too much so it was nice to spend time with my family
