    Oh, I’m working
But I couldn’t sleep well for the first night
My body kept waking me up every hour

I’ll admit, I check on breaks

I'm glad that Notre Dame won (I guess), but I really didn't want to start watching SNL at 11:20pm CST.

The only reason I'm even slightly interested in SNL is the election.

It was quite warm and very windy today. I left the sliding patio door open (no screen) along with most of the windows in the house. Left for a couple of hours and came home to a kitchen floor covered with maple leaves.

To have your boss’ boss ping you for saying “hell of a lot” not “heck of a lot”

    REALLY???

This PC bullshit is getting out of hand.

AND it was in a water cooler meeting for morale and relaxing
Not in a true business meeting

I was just talking about sushi
And how it was less expensive doing it at home.

    This is ridiculous

  6. So, I teach part time.

One semester, near the earlier part of my tenure, one of the assistant deans , I guess, (I don't keep track of who these people Are. Not my main source of income so I really don't care WHO they are.) Pulls me out of my class and says "Hey, you gotta cut back on the swearing. You may make someone feel uncomfortable"

My response : This is a college class. These are ADULTS!

I understand that "strong language" can make some people feel uncomfortable but here's the thing: the world gets a lot harder than hearing me say "shit!" when I make a mistake on the damn whiteboard.

As a moderator you should know not to use cuss words in your posts.

Intelligent adults do not need to resort to cussing.

    :eek::rolleyes::p

Stop asking me Stupid Fucking Questions.

    You're a grown woman.
Quit acting like an indecisive teenager.
    Think!
If the answer isn't clear, make a judgement call.

Stop asking me Stupid Fucking Questions.

  11. Linkedin annoys the hell out of me now. There are so many "thought leaders" that spew basic shit and call it profound.

IDK, it just seems like the world has gotten so bullshitty. Maybe it's just me.

I was born over 50 years ago. This will be the first Thanksgiving where I have not been with my mom and family.

The issue i have is that i have no filter. I say it like it is and everyone knows it. I work for a corporate owned dealership, when they have higher uppers come in for whatever reason they normally buy my lunch just so i am not here when they walk around and talk to people. I have been known to say tings that are offensive.
    But yes it is ridiculous

It was fine, thanks for asking. It was just...different. Not the way I wanted it to be.
We had our neighbors over, since we hang out with them a lot and consider them inside our "bubble".
We had great food and good company. I certainly can't complain.
It just wasn't my mom and family like it always has been.

  18. Today was one of those days where I wish I could've stayed in bed.

  19. Ever been on a call with your manager after they openly made a display of how much they distrust you then was proven wrong....and the vibe of the call pretty much was

    Manager: I lost you didn't I?
    You: Yup.
Manager: No way to fix this fuck up?
You: Nope. I'm already applying elsewhere and I DON'T wish you guys the best of luck. Matter of fact, you all can burn in hell with your unnecessary drama.

    ........yeah.......just happened to me.

When tall beautiful toxic young ladies come the past to test your will again...

    I have passed.

Guess it’s nice to be thought of
But the thought of guessing isn’t nice.

There’s a reason you got out of the way.
    And that reason never changes.

Why do complications always come wrapped nicely??
