1. We've had very few donations over the year. I'm going to be short soon as some personal things are keeping me from putting up the money. If you have something small to contribute it's greatly appreciated. Please put your screen name as well so that I can give you credit. Click here: Donations

I'm thinking the story behind the wife's relationship with her daughter is complicated & strained.

A message board I was a long-time member of just got unplugged permanently. I can still contact the two members who were still around, but I'm feeling the loss, as it was a happy place for me to visit for about a decade or so.

I'm running out of internet places to visit.

Very gradually I've been unable to access the TFP anywhere except my home desktop computer. Years ago I could check out the board anywhere. Recently, I couldn't see it during breaks at work, but this was no emergency. Lately I haven't been able to access it anywhere except my home, and as of this week even my phone tells me the site took too long to respond.

My internet crapped out last week, and although we have a new router and provider, I'm still running on the old network because my computer can't get to it.

I had to replace our home thermostat twice in one day because the first replacement ran on Wi-Fi and our house wiring lacks the capability. Luckily the hardware stores still carry the old-fashioned thermostats that aren't programmable and don't have to connect your phone just to heat & cool your house.

There are days when I just hate technology.
