I'll be back when I can keep my eyes open.
Very lovely music, @DamnitAll
The first vid's music was my favorite. (it seems really familiar)
The 2nd was good, also, but the near ending was my favorite part. (not trying to be facetious)
And the 3rd was sounding really good before the stop. (it was also interesting to hear the different sounds of you guys tuning your instruments.)
I'd kill to hear you play the Scheherazade solo.
Thank you kindly!
True confession: I hate Scheherazade—the whole piece makes me seasick (which is probably the point), and I can't listen to it anymore without being reminded of the most recent live performance I saw of it, which was downright awful—but I would suck it up and play it just for you.
You are too kind, @DamnitAll.
I wouldn't put you through that, though.
How about some Pachelbel Canon in D Major?
recent show for us Whiskey Kings
How I spent the past five days:
Why is the drummer sitting in the dark?
Have you seen that guy? If they let him into the spotlight, he'd steal all of the groupies!
He's sittin' on his best feature, so why bother showing him?
Cool vid, Fly.
Nother new band I have the pleasure to play in
Fuck the pandemic—keep the music alive.
Hey all... if you’re bored this evening at 7:30 EDT, I’ll be participating in another live-streamed interview and rebroadcast of a solo performance I did last summer with my orchestra. Same deal as the previous link. If you can’t watch it live, the recorded version will go up for viewing after the live show is over.
Twitch feeds, use the link
You can also access the stream by visiting my orchestra’s page on Facebook: search for Frederick Symphony Orchestra.
Here's the link.
