Okay, this is open to a little interpretation, but this is not a "what are you listening to" thread; rather, if you found something of musical interest that's off the beaten path, please post it here. I'm going to post a few various examples, here's the first one: (and yes, it's a little on the humorous side) (When you only know 1 note, but you gotta set the club on fire!)
I found "Post Modern Jukebox" and very much enjoy the concept. --- Double Post Merged, Nov 26, 2020, Original Post Date: Nov 26, 2020 --- --- Double Post Merged, Nov 26, 2020 ---
The Stupendium does what is called Nerdcore Hip Hop. It's a kind of rap made about gaming, math, comic books, puns, and every kind of nerd fascination. He makes some of the best videos. A few years ago there was a challenge between all the Nerdcore artists to do a fact rap. This is his. This is one he did with Dan Bull and ERBH of Lego VS Minecraft
Something very unusual: the old Rick Astley tune "Never Gonna Give You Up", except an A.I. program attempts to generate an extension of the song at various points: ...and someone's interpretation of the lyrics at the 5:43 mark- "Windows, turnips, small lawn No hard PH, some good and shiny sand! Yes, I keep on callin my family -- I'm alone! And I'm a damn good neighbor, man! (Yeah? pass the cheese!) Can't see how I'm feelin? Don't tell me to pass the cheese! Yeah, nah!"
I've always been fascinated by unusual re-arrangements with unusual instruments. Like this Bach on the Swedish nyckelharpa. I listen to a lot of different kinds of music, and would like to thank @redravin for all the music he has posted that served to stretch my ears. Thanks, @redravin. I posted this in What are you listening to" a couple of months ago. It's hard to describe this. It's not pop, classical, ambient, jazz, blues.. I don't know what to call it, but I just love the strange way that this is all put together. The little percussive effects... I feel like I could reach out and touch them... So, here it is again.
