    My pup is doing better.
She hurt herself during our eclipse trip.
Jumped off the bed, injured her ACL

The 1st vet...pissed me off...gave an ambiguous non-answer (said it may be a neurological factor)
That didn't jive with the physical symptoms and swelling I saw.

2nd opinion vet took his time, had me watch, did a thorough job...correctly diagnosed it (including perhaps some underlying secondary neurological/spinal triggered conditions...because she was dragging her toe)
She's rested...almost back to norm...actually have to hold her back (although 11, she has the heart of a puppy and no fear)

I'll followup with the spinal concern, but I find it interesting that certain vets can not be complete...or fooled.
Any industry or expert can be wrong or have an off-day...or just be paying attention.
    Humans are animals too.

When my wife makes breakfast in the morning, she'll usually cook an egg for Stanley. He has trained her that he prefers his yolk runny and his egg salted.

    This happened today:

He's walked by his bowl and sniffed it about four times, then he looks at her in disgust like "you got the order wrong, not sure how you expect me to eat this until you get it right".

She has created a spoiled monster.

Old Miniature Dachshund, Little Bit. Young cat, Creme Brule. The cat looked shocked when she woke up and realized that she had been sleeping on the dog. A few years ago LB wouldn't have tolerated it.
