Creme Brule. My cat. Picked her up crawling across the road, probably not six weeks old. As her coat kept darker she went from Creme to Creme Brule; the joke is she'll be black in a few years. Refuses to pose for photos.

Mr. Smudge. My wife's cat. The mark on his head was a lot more pronounced when he was a kitten. Rescued him the same day we rescued Creme. He has a very soft coat, like rabbit fur, loves to pose for photos.

Generally, guinea pigs only need two baths a year; they're pretty clean. This means they usually don't get used to being dipped in water, but Murphy, the brown & white one, tends to accept his fate without complaint. Stilgar is still getting used to this, so he tries to escape a few times- they can scramble out of that tub if they want to! :)

When i give one of my dogs a bath, she knows whats happening and has a tenancy to just go with it.

Finally got my guys out for some grazing!

Murphy is an experienced hand at this, and enjoyed himself:

Stilgar was less enthused; last time I got him out he tried to escape under some shrubbery. My new fence setup prevents this, so he remained in his pigloo and surveyed his surroundings, seemingly oblivious to the fact that he could eat everything in front of him:

Mr. Smudge establishing his claim to his new pillow (seat pad actually). The mark by his eye came courtesy of his smaller sister Creme Brule. Most of the time their rare fights are simply passively annoying each other, or mostly noise, but sometimes they use claws & teeth.

image0000.jpg My stepson took this pic of Duncan today. Took a really good pic with great lighting. Duncan is right around a year old. Very much a Dog. Plays hard, a little rough. Likes to be under the deck when outside and not patrolling the backyard. Wants to play all evening and loves to chew.
