We have long thread covering Verruckterfuhrer as POTUS 2017-2021, and the last nearly four years.

Since he is now the president-elect, his actions will affect his actual term; my thinking is we need to track his actions in a new thread. It's possible two threads are needed, one political, one personal.

I'll start with "No price tag." Verruckterfuhrer has said he doesn't care what his Radical Deportation Policy (RDP) will cost because it's absolutely necessary.

I can see him starting RDP,.
It gets bogged down because it's poorly planned.
Too many companies want their name on the blank check.
The costs reaching levels that even Verruckterfuhrer can't ignore.
He tries to kick it back to the individual states to deal with (like the COVID pandemic).

What is going to happen with the Department of Justice?

Are we going to be under the rule of someone with ethics more flexible than those of Bill Barr?

Someone more beholden to Verruckterfuhrer than Barr was? Yes, that is possible.

Will Clarence Thomas begin openly taking bids for his votes? Will Jinny hold an official position with Project 2025?

And this is just the tip of the iceberg threatening to tear through the USA.

fflowley Don't just do something, stand there!

I think he can ignore any level of costs.
He was President with a Republican Congress and blew the most massive budget deficits in history, even before COVID happened.
Don't kid yourself thinking Republicans don't like budget deficits.

    Oh please put it out!
    Stream that sucker.

Too bad it didn’t get out in the theaters before the election.
Timing has been hell in this whole scenario.

But maybe better as a Holiday Season movie
Right before he gets into office. :D

    Freedom of speech.

Ok, now it's getting silly/stupid already
Matt Gaetz as AG?? Even his associates and allies in Congress don't like him and are surprised by the posting...and he's was under investigation for sex trafficking and being with an underaged girl.

    https://www.npr.org/2024/11/12/g-s1...maswamy-doge-government-efficiency-deep-state

And Musk & Ramaswammy for the heads of a now non-existing dept?? The House and Senate may have issues with that, they're the ones who are allowed to do appropriations and expanding the govt.
Besides, they say each Senator looks in the mirror and sees a future prez. They may check his ego, to sate theirs.

And frankly, it's an indicator he's going to weaponize the DOJ and go after people.
MG will do anything Chump says...and won't balk like his previous AG's did.

    We'll see.
    Still it's very stupid...and crazy.

Hegseth was vetted, in a way. He lobbied for soldiers accused of crimes committed while they were actively serving.

Pete Hegseth's Role in Trump’s Controversial Pardons of Men Accused of War Crimes

The Gallagher demotion reversal was big news, pissed off a lot of top military brass. And IIRC afterwords Gallagher was a speaker at several Verruckterfuhrer, & MAGA, events.

If the military has a long standing policy of protecting their own (I remember posts where some TFPers said that is greatly exaggerated), Gallagher must've been a real monster. Just the kind of "man" Bonespurs Verruckterfuhrer likes...and wishes he could be.

Trump team barred from agencies amid legal standoff — POLITICO

Oh no, we can’t sign ethics agreements
Background checks are a hassle

    The clusterfuck continues to grow.

Can’t be shocked, when it happens, that these guys are bending and breaking rules like crazy
    And trading secrets like candy.

And further down the rabbit hole we go.

    Partly signed.
The congressional mandated one...that's done. so they can talk to each other and start background checks.

They're not doing the GSA one because that says there's a cap on spending and have to reveal where the transition team is getting funded.

We know Barrabbas doesn't care about ethics, & thinks nothing of breaking contracts. Let's hope the background checks on his appointees are thorough, & good sense prevails during the voting.

    Voting and good sense .
