I don't want it to happen, & don't think it will happen.

I've always said we need a Radical Left to counter the Hard Right & the magatards.

A lot of the Zoomers aren't really Left, they certainly aren't Liberals or Democrats.
Some of them are straight up Anarchists.
But most just are sick and tired of systems that fuck them over.
So they are looking at Marx and other other critics of the systems.
They are smart enough to realize that the politics only go so far if you don't do something about the systems that the politics are happening in.
    And they are really smart.
They don't buy into the bullshit so many of us fell for.

    NOT winning…Loser. :D

More $$$ gone from your till.

Oh yeah, better not pay for it from your PACs and donation
The Feds and Smith are still actively looking into you using those funds
And see if it was illegal

Don’t wanna do it right in front of their faces.
Because this is not political…this is purely civil and personal
AND you’re already in trouble for paying the pornstar inappropriately.

    Nevermind…do it, go ahead.
    What can happen??? ;)

Another article that could go in several threads.

    https://www.salon.com/2023/09/07/le...-mistrial-just-one-juror-can-nullify-the-law/

    ^No shit?^ ^Really?^ ^That could happen?^

The article ties into something I've been mentioning for months:
Don't get too excited about NPD Trump going to trial with the evidence of his guilt being overwhelming. One juror can screw-up everything; that person doesn't even have to be a serious MAGA supporter. In fact the overwhelming evidence could push someone with concerns about Big Brother overreaching into 'fighting back' by refusing to vote guilty.

but that's actually a part of his plan, or his lawyers...
Stir the pot, supposedly corrupt the process, protest, make them start over.
it's delay, delay, delay...draw it out.
until the election, then he gets potentially into office...then he can submarine the whole thing. "because he's prez"

This whole thing is showing all the holes in the system and what we've come to expect.
He's going to push it to the end....and as much as he can.

In April, Trump said his private-jet LLC was worth no more than $1,001. Then in July, he said it was worth up to $25 million. Why?

This is just the tip of the iceberg...
It is a part of T's method of running his business.

Frankly, it's all likely a lie...the whole thing, has been for years...decades.
The fact that the authorities have taken this long to bring it to court...shows how many holes there are in the system.

AND don't let him get off with just a fine!!! That will be a hand slap.
    Shut down the business.
Keep him from running it. (at least in NYC...the SOB will likely move it to another state or country)

If Burnie Madoff can go to jail for his crimes, then T can too.

    WTF?

I figured NPD Trump had his businesses in multilayers to keep the IRS confused, but it sounds like his own accountants probably don't know what's what with which company.

But it's easier for the IRS hound the shit out of people who can't afford multiple accountants and legal teams.

    This is nothing really new.

    https://www.salon.com/2023/09/15/core-strategy-is-to-spread-chaos-and-confusion--duh-is-it-working/

It does show NPD Trump's MO. One point in the article is probably more important than many people realize:

"The idea here, of course, is simply to delay, to create confusion and if possible to lend more credence to the deeply-held MAGA belief that Trump is being persecuted or prosecuted for being the leader of a political movement, rather than for an entire career of likely or probable criminal actions."

As long as he has the support of his vocal base, who's members vote in large numbers, he'll have the support of the GOP. We can't underestimate how both groups have effected, and are effecting, the efforts to bring NPD Trump to justice.

    Will he be gagged???
And even if he is....will he be penalyzed? (because, y'know he won't stop)

And will the judge actually get to the jail level? (or at least house arrest with no media communications outwards...because again, he won't stop)

I doubt it...or like a UFO, I'll believe when I see it.

Prosecutors ring the alarm: Trump could trigger 'violence'

    Uhhh, y'think???
What was Jan 6th all about?
And THAT was at the fuckin' capital (having a horde go after the Senate)

He will provoke anything he can.
And deny all blame or connection.

WHY do we let him away with this crap?

Definitely born under a lucky star.
This guy has a rambling mouth worse than a crack addict who's gotten caught yelling Fire! in a theater after HE set the fire.
But...the authorities treat him with kid gloves.

    Just unbelievable.

‘Cognitively impaired’? Trump’s confused attacks on Biden start to backfire — Guardian US

There has been a double standard.
    Including by the media.

It’s almost as if T’s gaffes and mistakes are part of his style and personality.

Where as, Biden is called for everything.
    Then again, Obama was too.
    (but Clinton wasn’t)
Yet GW was full of mistakes, certainly.

For the GOP, I get it’s a newer tactic.
But the media needs to get out of the “gotcha” mindset.

    Biden is healthy enough now.
And we have a decent enough VP, which would be historic.

YouTube has numerous vids showing NPD Trump stumbling over words (several tries) and simply moving on when loses his train of thought.

There's no way NPD Trump could do the mentally strenuous work and put in the long hours that Biden put does. Hell, he couldn't even sit through a security briefing.

It's better than nothing, but not by much.
Which is my summary of CBS news coverage of national & world news.

Donald Trump's net worth in 2023: How much money does the former president really have?

I don't trust a magazine with a history of flattering the rich, and that admitted to being conned & bullied by NPD Trump into accepting his financial figures for their reporting.

The Definitive Net Worth Of Donald Trump

Withholding payments on many what should be small bills for a man worth "billions, & billions of dollars" seems to work.

Frankly, once the guy either croaks or is jailed, they'll more than likely find out that his "empire" is one of the biggest pyramid schemes and overall scam in recent history.
    Perhaps even more than Madoff's

There's leaks galore that he's been robbing peter to pay paul...and getting suckers (banks, foreign nations, voter fans, etc) to keep putting money into that poor slot machine.
The NY fraud case will reveal a lot.
But I'll make a million dollar bet (which I do NOT have) that even more is NOT there...it's all smoke and mirrors. Just the tip of the iceberg.

If he goes, then it will unravel and all his creditors and those he owes, will get zip. There will likely be nothing to feed on.

Allies and supporters are betting on an illusion.

IMHO, a LOT of laws will be made after he passes to prevent things from happening again.
Even his ex-allies in Congress may vote for them having been burnt after the fact.
The man has shown so many holes in the system.

We're swiss cheese...a stinky one at that...and one that gives indigestion and gas.

NPD Trump's ability to arrange loans to cover others loans is well known. I think the link showing the properties he owns outright (or maybe not) helps explain his ability to get loans.

Will his "empire" really fall after his death? Much depends on what his children learned from their father.

The oil bust, & the seemingly forgotten S&L Crisis, showed that real estate value turns to shit when nobody has the money or credit to buy property.
