    You're so right, Frederick has a wonderful selection of places to get something. Used to live there.
    Any suggestions for me from current options? ;)

    BTW, @noodle , I'd recommend Bobby Van's down on New York Ave in DC.
    (they're good...not TOO pricey, but not inexpensive either, known for steak, but have other options too.)

    And as a followup on DamnitAll's locale, if you want REALLY good food, but it costs...there's gourmet at Volt. (owned by a TopChef winner, but $150+/plate)
    (But the whole strip there is great for eats...my personal fav is Isabella's...it's a tapas restaurant, an excellent place to experiment.)

    For any foodie, I'd recommend opentable.com (Link is for DC, but they have many other locations)

    Long time OpenTable user. I'm going to take a look around. I just didn't know if there was any place in particular that might be good.
    It's a different side of town than I usually stay in, I think.

    Yup, it's my only concession. I build it into my carb blocks. Many paleo-zone people will flex on beer. My hubs brews, how could I give up beer? I only drink one, once or twice a week.

    I'm craving mother effin crab legs sooooo bad.
