My phone and YouTube links are fighting, and I'm the one losing.

IIRC Dick Dale played lefty, and learned to play on right-handed guitars without reversing the strings. And played that way even after he could afford proper lefty guitars. He wasn't the only one, Doyle Braumhill III plays that way.

I depends on which hand you consider to be "playing" the guitar: The hand fingering the strings... or the hand doing the picking?

Studies have shown a statistical bias in favor of lefties among orchestral violin and cello players.WHITS that they play the traditional way with the left hand on the neck and bow with the right hand. Less so with (upright) bass players, but quite a few of those are have come to the upright by way of guitar or "slab bass."

Both hands, as far as I'm concerned. I know lefties who play lefty with the strings done correctly. I know lefties who learned to play righty because it was convenient or that's how they were taught. I don't personally know anyone who plays lefty with right-handed stringing.

Pick up a righty guitar, flip it over, and try to finger some simple chords....upside down and backwards.

Nomenclature is confusing, but I call it a lefty guitar if the player fingers the string with his/her right hand and picks/strums with the left hand.

I don't think there's an actual name for playing lefty with EBGDAE stringing.

The Kinks, and honestly Ray Davies' songwriting pretty much is The Kinks, are (one of) the most chronically underrated rock band(s). That happens when you record songs that people have to really listen to.

    JMOO, lol.

Sina has been at this for quite a while; her vids cover a wide variety of genres, and include some original music. She's from Germany, and her English isn't perfect, but her wicked dry sense of humor comes through clearly.

Confession: I used to feel a little guilty thinking that she was really cute (nothing particularly sexual, mind you), and now feel better knowing that she was born in 1999, which makes her at least 19, probably 20.
