What's stuck in your head today?

A TV commercial has been using a version of this song, and every damn time it gets stuck in my head.



Check the close ups. Deborah Harry wasn't that hot, IMO.

I did write "IMO."

Deborah Harry was, and still is, an attractive woman. But IMO she looked 'old' up close. She was a former heroin addict, which combined with living the rock & roll/disco lifestyle took a certain toll.

 

True enough but for me there is a certain beauty in someone who has gone through the darkside and come out the other intact.
She also dropped her career for years to take care of Chris when he got sick something that not many rock stars would do.
They are still together, which shows deep love and passion something I also find sexy.

My daughter is taking a German class at Uni. One of her words, which she was saying aloud, was "sick" - or "krank" in German. Conversation went something like this.... (For those that don't know my household - she was saying "krank" WRONG and it sounded like she was saying cunt.)

Her: "Hey mom bist du krank?"
Me: "Am I a Cunt?"
>she laughs<
Her: "No, krank"
Me: "cunt"
Her: "No Mom, KRANK. krank krank krank!"
Me: "cunt!? What are they teaching you in that class >hername< ?!?!?!?"
>she laughs< "NO MOM! KRANK!!" >she laughs harder<
Me: "For the love of god, stop SAYING that >hername<!"
Her: "Mom, KRANK. K. R. A. N. K. not C. U. N. T."
Me: Well then SAY crank, not cunt!!!!

So... Today had been Cunt day. ANYTHING that sounds even remotely like "cunt", my daughter has been replacing with that word when she talks - in any language.
*rolls eyes*
Impossible to get the word unstuck with her carrying on like this

 

I know this song. This movie was played over and over as part of the Saturday afternoon repertoire of the Buffalo TV station when I was a kid. along with any Don Knots movie..
