Spring never ceases to disappoint here.
Yesterday was a full day of rain with temperatures in the 40s.
This morning I have the pellet stove running because the house is just too cold for comfort.
    It's freaking June!
(Yes I know I need a new dew point sensor).

A week with plenty of rain, some nasty thunderstorms, hail, flooding, & a tornado.

At our house we had the rain & thunderstorms.

When our normal summer weather returns -- high 90s/low 100s, 90% humidity, & drought -- I'll gladly trade with you.

It's a rollercoaster here and not in a good way.
It was a very cool and rainy spring and early summer.
Then Monday and Tuesday we melted. Seriously melted, it was in the 90s with high humidity and we don't have air conditioning.
Since Tuesday? We're back in the 50s and 60s with rain on and off.

That (bold portion) seriously sucks even when you're used to the heat & humidity. It's literally a killer.

I can't imagine dealing with it when you're not used to it.

Currently 90 degrees, 12% humidity. So you walk out, feel the sun beating on you, but you don't instantly burst out sweat. And very few mosquitoes. My raspberries are happy, as long as they get water.

    It was ugly.
We have a large elderly population, many living in rural poverty.
    It's very dangerous for them.

Today is our ideal summer day: 58F to start this morning. The high temperature later will be around 80F. Just delightful.
